CNN iReport Film Festival Panel of Judges: 2008  
     Winners of Online Competition Announced on Anderson Cooper 360° Thursday, Nov. 13

The panel of judges for the iReport Film Festival has a variety of talent and experience in the film and television industry.  These judges include professionals that have made contributions in this industry that will be judging the finalist for The Festivals Grand Jury Award. The iReport panel of judges include ; Alex Gibney, Richard Roeper, Kimberly Rivers Roberts, Dennis Haysbert, Fred Willard, Rachel Campos Duffy, Evan Coyne Maloney and Robert Davi.
Alex Gibney won the 2008 Academy Award  for best documentary film  “Taxi to the Darkside”. He is also the producer of “Herbie Hancock: Possibilities,” a film that outlines the making of Herbie Hancock’s 2005 album Possibilities starring a host of contemporary artist.
Richard Roper has been writing a daily newspaper column that has been appearing in the Chicago Sun-Times since 1987 and has received numerous accolades. Also, Roeper was the co-host of   “At the Movies with Ebert and Roeper” for eight seasons
Kimberly Rivers Roberts is a New Orleans Resident that filmed herself and her 9th ward neighbors from the beginning of Hurricane Katrina through its aftermath. She captured a first-hand account of the disaster that struck New Orleans, Louisiana.  Her footage was turned into the award winning documentary film “Trouble the Water”. Trouble in the Water won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and The Kathleen Bryan Edwards Award for Human Rights at the 2008 Full Frame Documentary Festival.
Actor Dennis Haysbert most recent appearance would be the portrayal of President of David Palmer in the television series “24”.He also plays Nelson Mandela in the film “The Color of Freedom” which won the Peace Film Award in the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival. Dennis Haysbert has starred in a host of TV shows and movies including “The Unit”, “24” ,”Soul Food”, “Empire” and “Breach” to name a few.
Fred Willard has appeared in many Christopher Guest movies including “Best In Show”, “Waiting for Guffman” and “A Mighty Wind.”
Rachel Campos Duffy began her career on MTV’s once ground breaking series “The Real World San Francisco”. Rachel has also had a number of appearances as a guest co-host on the “The View”. She is currently the face of AOL living, a lifestyle web page focused on families and parenting.
Evan Coyne Maloney first film, Brainwashing 101 looked at the political environments on three
college campuses: Bucknell University, the University of Tennessee and California Polytechnic.
In his controversial 2007 documentary, “Indoctrinate You”, which the NY Post referred to as “alarming and funny”, he again examined the state of college campuses in relation to political diversity and tolerance
Robert Davi- may be best known for his memorable roles in “License to Kill” and “The Goonies”.  He is directing his first feature film, The Dukes, which will premieres November 14th
The iReport Film Festival diverse panel of judges will collectively bring their talents and expertise to the round table when selecting the winning submission for this competition. The panel of judges will be apart of an innovative achievement in citizen journalism at the iReport Film Festival when they choose the recipient of the 1st Annual Grand Jury Award.
